Aaron Ray Poseyesva, age 73, resident of Clarkdale, Arizona, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2006 at his home with his family by his side. Aaron was born on December 15, 1932 in Mishongnovi Village, Arizona to Raymond and Verna (Mike) Poseyesva. Aaron worked as a Journeyman in 1971, and later became self-employed as a handyman. Aaaron loved carving and also found additional income by carving Katchina Dolls. Aaron is preceded in death by his wife Susan Elaine Kinsey Poseyesva. He leaves behind two sons, Philbert Poseyesva, with his wife Elizabeth of Kykotsmovi, Arizona, and Lambert Poseyesva of Second Mesa, Arizona; seven daughters, Lydia Poseyesva, with her husband Malcolm, and Rosella Poseyesva, with her husband Roxie, all of which reside in Second Mesa, Arizona, Doreen Poseyesva, Jackie Sunkens of Camp Verde, Arizona, Elaine Dalton, with her husband Dean of Camp Verde, Arizona, Carmen Poseyesva, with her husband Daniel, and Marquitta Poseyesva, with her husband Daniel, all of which reside in Clarkdale, Arizona; two brothers, Manual Poseyesva of Tuba City, Arizona, and Ray John Poseyesva, with his wife Marilyn of Hotevilla, Arizona; two sisters, Sarah Miguel, with her husband Louie, and Gertrude Polacca, all of which reside in Second Mesa, Arizona; as well as, 30 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services were held in Mishongnovi Village-Second Mesa, Arizona on Friday, July 22, 2006, honoring a traditional Hopi burial.
