Abbie Monroe

Abbie Monroe, 86, resident of Cottonwood, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2007. She was born February 15, 1921 in Portland, Oregon. She was the daughter of Mamie Gates. Abbie loved traveling, reading, and gardening. She was an excellent seamstress, and she enjoyed ceramics. She was a loving wife, and a devoted mother and grandmother. She leaves behind her husband of 47 years, Howard Monroe of Cottonwood; her daughter Sharon Kramer; 2 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchilren. A viewing will take place on Thursday, March 15th with the Funeral Service and interment will follow on Friday, March 16th.
