Aimee Lynn Woodard, 47 of Cottonwood, was born February 14, 1960 in Phoenix, AZ and went home to be with the Lord on Thursday December 20, 2007. She is preceded in death by grandparents George Dumas and George and Eva Addair. Aimee's surviving family members are her husband of 5 years Larry Woodard of Cottonwood; parents Donald and Jane Addair of Prescott Valley; brother Chris Addair of Flagstaff; sister Teresa Ligammar of Staten Island, NY and grandmother Lena Dumas of Prescott. She will be greatly missed by all of her "favorite" nieces and nephews Leah Dohse, Caleb Addair and Jared Addair of Flagstaff, Andrea Collins of Cottonwood, Ashley Collins of Staten Island, NY and Arica Collins of Prescott. Aimee was an employee of the Cottonwood Safeway Deli for 7 years. In her spare time she enjoyed decorating her home and spending time with her dogs Callie, Bailey and Shelby. Aimee courageously battled 2 kidney transplants years of dialysis, 2 heart attacks, a stroke, numerous surgeries and physical sufferings, yet encouraged and impressed others with her sense of humor, her unwavering trust in God and an intense love for others. A memorial service will be held at First Assembly of God Church, 750 E. Mingus Ave Cottonwood, AZ Wednesday December 26, 2007 at 3pm. An online guestbook is available at www.westcottfuneralhome.com.
