Albert Eugene Pouria, Sr

Albert Eugene Pouria, Sr., 86, of Sedona, passed away September 11, 2022 in Payson, Arizona. He was born October 30, 1935 in Yonkers, New York to George D. Pouria, Sr. and Margaret J. Greene Pouria. Albert attended Cardinal Hayes High School in New York City. He then went on to receive his Associates in Business. He joined the U.S. Army and served in the post Korean War. He also served on the burial detail at Arlington National Cemetery. He was employed by Allen-Bradley from 1965 – 1985 and Anheuser-Busch from 1985 – 2000. Albert was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed golf, reading, and was interested in all sports. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Kathleen Pouria of Sedona; sons Albert Eugene Pouria Jr. (Lynda) of Lubbock, TX, and Anthony Deric Pouria (Jenn) of Detroit; daughter Janine Nicole (Jeffery) of Plano, TX; and 3 grandchildren Ryan, Allison and Stephen. Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Parish in Cottonwood at 11:00AM. Inurnment will follow at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix at 2:30pm.
