Alberta L. Pittam

Alberta L. Pittam passed away peacefully in her sleep January 31, 2010 at her home in Cottonwood. She was born July 10, 1924 in Flush, Kansas to Alfred and Mary Carlson. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Ralph Pittam; her daughters , Janice Poe (Ron) of Casa Grande and Ardeen Cooper (Bill) of Oregon; a son Michael Pittam (Sally) of California; 6 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Fred Carlson, and Orville Bangert, sister Eva Hyde and grandson Stacey Poe. After living in Oregon for 45 years Alberta and Ralph moved to Cottonwood, where she enjoyed and active social life with many good friends and traveled and explored extensively throughout the United States. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 6 at Hobo Joe\u0027s Restaurant at 3:30 PM. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Northern Arizona Hospice, 269 So.
