Alice Lisk, 94, passed away on February 4, 2013. She died peacefully in her sleep at the Mingus Terrace assisted living facility in Cottonwood, Arizona where she had lived since 2003. She was born in Oklahoma and moved to Arizona in 1962 when she went to work for the BIA at the Pinon Boarding School in charge of the dining facility. She spent most of her working years in food service which included owning two restaurants. She moved to Sedona in 1978 where she enjoyed life and and the many friends she made. She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford, and her daughter, Donna. Survivors include her son Clint (Cathy) Lisk of Sedona, brother Carl (Geneva) Smith and her sister Lorene Smith of Texas; grandchildren Shelli (Danny) Dickison of Clarkdale, Arizona, Tanner Flynn of Phoenix, Arizona and Denise (Out of state), two great-granddaughters and one great-great-granddaughter, as well as many nieces and nephews.
