Allen (Moody) Bonnaha, 71, of the Middle Verde Yavapai Apache Nation died January 14. He was born July 9, 1938 in Phoenix, the son of Steven and Florence (Ingle) Bonnaha. He was a graduate of Clarkdale schools. He worked for Peabody Coal Company in Black Mesa, Arizona where he spent 24 years in the Black Mesa Mine and loved his work. He served his country in the Marine Corps. Mr. Bonnaha\u0027s hobbies were hunting, fishing, bareback riding in rodeos and Pow-wows. He liked to carve spirit dancers. He loved family gatherings and was always there for his family. He will sadly be missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister Joanne Bonnaha Anderson. He leaves his wife of three years, Lynn Bonnaha; son Jody Bonnaha (Tina) of Prescott; daughters Diana Bonnaha, Victoria Bonnaha, Anna Bonnaha, both of Camp Verde and Michelle Bird of Canada; mother Florence Bonnaha; brothers Hubert Bonnaha (Gloria) of Prescott, Irvin Bonnaha of Paulden and Brent Ingle of Clarkdale; sisters Shirley Bonnaha Coffman (Keith) of Camp Verde, Rhonda Chicharello of Ft. McDowell, Linda Hartnet and Brenda Fenton, both of Camp Verde; twenty grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
