Allen Zale

Allen Zale, 81, of Cornville, died September 20, 2013 in Cornville. He was born April 4, 1932 in Globe, Arizona to Hason and Sophie Zale. He attended Washington Elementary School in Phoenix and Glendale Union High School. He then joined the Army and served in the Korean War. He moved his family to Cornville in 1969, working at the DA Ranch before he and a partner started a backhoe business, which he continued until his retirement. He is survived by his wife Prudie; four children, Mary Zale, Audrey Islas (Sus), Allen "Sonny" Zale (Shelly), and Steve Page (Cindy); eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Zale and Zana Zale of Glendale; and one brother, Homen Zale (Linda) of Winslow. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 11:00 AM, at The Blazin\u0027 M Ranch in Cottonwood.
