Andrew (A.J.) Sharrah

December 21, 1923 — April 19, 2009

Andrew (A.J.) Sharrah, of Clarkdale passed away quietly on April 19 after a very honorable and hard fought battle. His family was so proud of him and the manner in which he walked through life. He was a quiet and unassuming gentle man and will never be forgotten by those who knew and loved him. He served his country as a Gunner\u0027s Mate in the US Navy on the USS Gage during World War II. He had been a long-time member of the Jerome Elks and the VFW in Cottonwood. He is survived by his wife, Betty Sharrah; his daughter Lynda Martin and his son Leon Sharrah. He also left behind his loving sister, Evelyn Brohammer and his brother, Delbert Sharrah. As AJ requested, there are no services planned. An online guestbook is available at www.westcottfuneralhome.com
