Andrzej Szechter, 86 of Cottonwood, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024. He was born on May 15, 1938 in Warsaw, Poland to Isaac and Lena Szechter.

Andrzej worked for St. Vincent’s Hospital.

Andrzej was a Holocaust survivor and physician. He published works in Ophthalmology Journal and the American Journal of Ophthalmology. He enjoyed tennis, loved cats and dogs and loved watching basketball.

Andrzej is survived by his son Robert Szechter and daughter-in-law Judy Szechter of Sedona; daughter Elizabeth Szechter of Cottonwood; brother Romek Szechter of Lawrence, NY; and grandchild Talya Szechter of Cottonwood.
