Ann E. Burrell, 96, of Cottonwood died March 4. She was born April 27, 1912 in Dodge City, Kansas, the daughter of Zacheriah and Esther Hobbs. She was a graduate of Clarkdale High School. She owned and operated a restaurant. She was also an accountant for several businesses. Mrs. Burrell was a member of Cottonwood Assembly of God Church and made many quilts for her church. She enjoyed gardening and mind stimulating games. She was preceded in death by sons, Thomas, Milton and John and a daughter Bernice, Mrs. Burrell is survived by daughters Loree Baker of Phoenix and Alice McCoy of Cornville; twenty-one grandchildren and an abundant number of great-grandchildren. An hour of visitation will be held on Monday March 16 at the Cottonwood Assembly of God Church from 10-11 AM with the funeral service following at 11 AM.
