Ann W. Rounds was born in Hempstead, New York on September 1, 1929. She moved from Riverside, California to come to the Verde Valley in 1991 where she is known for being a faithful witness of Jehovah. She was also known for her cheerful attitude and entertaining in her home as well as at her favorite restaurant, The Manzanita Inn where she often entertained groups of friends at "the Rounds round table". She spent her last days enjoying the visits with her many friends remembering all the good times they experienced together. She slept away peacefully at her home in the Cottonwood Village on Wednesday morning, August 26, 2015. A memorial will be held Saturday, September 5 at 2:00pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah\u0027s Witnesses, 1310 Highway 260, Cottonwood, AZ. Everyone who knew Ann was touched by her kindness, her generosity and her zeal for her God, Jehovah. She will be greatly missed. She leaves to cherish her memory to her son, Richard Lewis Rounds of Wellston, Oklahoma; her niece Marilyn and husband Phil Highducheck of Indio, California; her nephew Bill and wife Wiladeen Brooks of Mount Juliet, Tennessee and a host of loving and devoted friends.
