Anne S. Johnson

Anne S. Johnson, 93, of Cottonwood, passed away November 20, 2011. She was born December 25, 1918 in Azone, Montana to George and Katherine (Keller) Weikum. Anne loved to dance and she danced with a line dancing group as well as years of ballroom dancing. She was an artist who painted on both china and canvas. Anne was a member of Mountain View United Methodist Church, American Auxillary, Verde Village Homeowners Association, Happy Huggers and the Clemensau Heritage Museum. Anne had 58 happy years of marrige to Edwin C. Johnson, who predeceased her in 1999. Anne was also predecased by her brother, Richard Wiekum, and her sisters, Helen March, Amila Armstrong, Ella Decker, Lorretta Weikum and Esther Hollands. Anne is survived by her son, Tim C. Johnson and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Monday November 28 in the Westcott Funeral Home at 11 AM. A gathering will follow in the funeral home reception hall.
