Annette Filner

Annette Filner, 79 of Cottonwood, passed away on April 28, 2014. She was born on February 15, 1935 in Pittsburgh, PA to Irwin and Sylvia Perlin. Annette attended 5th Ave High School. She worked for Sam\u0027s Club in California and Strouses in Pennsylvania. Annette was a member of Vineyard Christian Fellowship of Cottonwood. Annette enjoyed watching old movies and family interests like staying in touch. She always attended church and tithing on a regular basis. She also was a member of the Interfaith Volunteer Group for Temple Beth Israel in Sharon, PA. Annette was preceded in death by her husband Paul Filner and brother Allen Perlin. She is survived by sons Leonard Filner of Cottonwood and Dr. I. Michael Filner; daughters Sandi Gargano (Dave) of Hermitage, PA and Debbie Bart of Redford, MI; brothers Robert Perlin (Vivian) of Cottonwood, Charles Perlin of Port Orange, FL and Larry Perlin (Diane) of Long Beach, CA; sister Marlene Harlow (Dwayne) of Colorado Springs, CO; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 10:30am at Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Cottonwood.
