Anthony Jacob Joshu

Anthony Jacob Joshu, 78 of Cottonwood, passed away on April 3, 2016. He was born on February 27, 1938 in Dupo, IL. Anthony attended Arizona State University for his teaching degree. He worked as a teacher; teaching high school level business and typing. Anthony belonged to St. George Greek Orthodox Church of Prescott. He enjoyed guns, politics and volunteering with children. Anthony is survived by sons Andrew Russell Joshu of Florida and Matthew Robert Joshu of Scottsdale; brother Joseph Joshu of Phoenix and sister Virginia Hammons (Bob Minor) of Prescott. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at St. George Orthodox Church, 609 W. Gurley Street in Prescott at 10:00am. A graveside service will follow at All Souls Cemetery, 700 N. Bill Gray Road in Cottonwood at 1:00pm.
