Antonio Chavez Orta

Antonio Chavez Orta, 77 of Youngtown, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 in Youngtown. He was born on December 19, 1937 in El Paso, Texas to Eugene Orta and Tilly Chavez. Antonio served his country in the Army as Private First Class. He worked for Navajo Army Depot. Antonio enjoyed working on his house and spending time with family. Antonio was preceded in death by his mother Tilly Chavez, granddaughter Kimberly Orta, brothers Martin D. Chavez and Lawrence A. Chavez and father Eugene Orta. He is survived by his wife Margaret Villa; sons Tony Orta, Marty Orta and David Orta; daughter Patty Orta; sister Lydia Mendoza; 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 10:30am at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave in Cottonwood.
