Arthur Burger, 90 of Cottonwood, passed away at home on April 1, 2014. He was born on May 28, 1923 in Brooklyn, NY to Arthur Burger and Hattie May Springstead. Arthur served his country in the Army as Warrant Officer during WWII. Arthur owned a meat packing plant and was the inventor of turkey ham. He enjoyed wood carving. Arthur was loved and respected by all who knew him. Arthur was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Burger and 5 sisters. He was the uncle of Peggy Reed; great-uncle of John Roske and Mary Hall and the great-great-uncle of their children.
