Arthur Dykhuis

Arthur Dykhuis, 78, of Rimrock died July 28.He was born November 2, 1926 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He attended Roseland Christian and Chicago Christian schools. Mr. Dykhuis retired from electrical contracting in Highland, Indiana. He was a was a Christian and served as a Deacon. He was a retired Fire Chief in Highland, Indiana and had been a volunteer firefighter. His hobbies included fishing and hunting. He leaves his wife of 57 years, Gertrude Dykhuis; two sons, Arthur of Chino Valley and Jeffrey of Lake Montezuma; two daughters, Sandra of Payson and Cynthia of Merriville, Indiana; a sister, Marge and her husband Andy of Florida; and eight grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Monday August 1 from 1:30-2 PM in the Beaver Creek Baptist Church in Rimrock. A funeral service will follow in the church at 2 PM.
