Audry L Boda passed peacefully into the loving hands of God, at home on July 4, 2010. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born Audrey L Polakoski in Chicago Illinois on March 12, 1931. She grew up in Fon due Lac, Wisconsin and met her life long mate. After they married, they moved to Anaheim, California where they raised their three children. Audrey was truly a Proverbs 31 woman and took care of the needs of those around her throughout her whole life. Audrey was blessed to have 23 years of sobriety and was an active member of the Alana Club in Cottonwood for 16 years. She is survived by her husband Melvin D. Boda of Cottonwood and her children: Steven Boda of San Jose, California, Mark Boda of Phelan, California, and Renee Olson of Cottonwood, Arizona. She is survived by her sisters Lois Gavin of Hayden, Idaho and Marilyn Kaimer of Hesperia, California, and her brother Don Polakoski of Waukesha, Wisconsin. Friends and family are invited to share in a celebration of Audrey\u0027s life at 2:00 p.m. Friday July 9, 2010 at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Avenue in Cottonwood. A buffet will immediately follow at Hobo Joe\u0027s Coffee Shop at 660 E. Mingus Avenue in Cottonwood. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to Verde Valley Community Hospice in Audrey\u0027s honor.
