Baltazar M. Lozano

Baltazar Monreal Lozano, 56, of Clarkdale died May 30. He was born July 10, 1946 in Jerome. He had a 35 year career in education. He served as school principal for several schools in the Cottonwood-Oak Creek School District including the Junior High/Middle School. Mr. Lozano was most recently Administrator of the Chester Newton Charter \u0026 Montesori School. He leaves his wife, Lupe D. Lozano; a daughter, Angela M. Lozano of Cottonwood; a son, Baltazar A. Lozano, Jr. of Clarkdale; his mother and stepfather, Julia Lozano Estrada and Ferman Estrada of Jerome; a sister and her husband, Deanna and Joseph Duran of Cortez, Colorado; four brothers, Anthony Lozano of Clarkdale, Edward Lozano of Jerome, Arthur Lozano of Phoenix and Ton-i Lozano of Safford; twenty-two nephews and nieces and thirty-one greatnieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 7 in the Westcott Funeral Home at 10:30 AM. Donations in his memory may be made to the Early Childhood Education Fund.
