Bama V. Hyatt of Cottonwood died May 28. She was born August 8, 1914 in Alamagordo, New Mexico the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David W. Van Dyke. She was a graduate of Inglewood California schools. Mrs. Hyatt worked as a bookkeeper in the Alaska territory. She had been a member of the Church of God in Anderson, Indiana where was a songleader, taught Sunday school and served as Church treasurer. She will be missed by her daughter Elaine and five grandsons. She leaves her daughter Elaine Blackwell (Frank) of Juneau, Alaska, five grandsons, thirteen great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. Private family services were held.
