Barbara McAnally, 84 of Cottonwood, passed away on Wednesday, July 18. She was born on August 15, 1927 in Roanoke Township, Illinois to Floyd Tilman Findley and Myrtle Bach. Barbara attended Eureka schools and became Valedictorian of her high school graduating class of 1945. Barbara and her husband Wayne were long time residents of Flagstaff. She was a past member of the El Valle Art Assn. She loved painting and photography. She was a life member of the Elk Lodge 1361 Ladies and a member of Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 0025. Barbara will be deeply missed by all her family and friends. Rest in peace mom and grandma. We will miss you. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Wayne McAnally and son James W. McAnally. She is survived by sons Edward McAnally (Debbie) of Camp Verde and Kenneth McAnally (Nancy) of Cottonwood; daughters Beverly Getz of Oklahoma and Jessie McAnally of California; 13 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 26 at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The service will be held on Friday, July 27 at 10:00am also at Westcott Funeral Home.
