Barbara M. Miles, 92, of Camp Verde died September 6, 2014. She was born October 27, 1921. Barbara grew up in upstate New York farm country, the Middle child of three brothers and three sisters. She married Raymond Miles on her Graduation Day, June 25, 1940. After the war they moved to Southern California in 1948. She drove school buses for the Anaheim School District for 10 years. She enjoyed painting and crafts. In 1989 they moved to Camp Verde to live out their days with their son and daughter-in-law. She has been a resident of Haven at Camp Verde since April of 2011. She is survived by her brother, Phillip Light of Watervlite, NY; her son, Robert Miles of Camp Verde, AZ; her daughter, Teryl Poulton of Venice, FL; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. A visitation and funeral service will be held at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave., Cottonwood on Friday, September 12, 2014, with the visitation beginning at 9:30 A.M. and services at 10 A.M. She will then rejoin her husband in rest at Heritage Park Memorial Cemetery in Dewey, AZ. Donations in Barbara\u0027s memory may be made to Old Town Mission, 116 E.
