Barbara Ruth Smock (nee Weis) of Cottonwood, AZ entered into God\u0027s graces on November 20, 2009. She was born in Peru, Indiana where she was a proud Peru High School Tiger graduate. She enjoyed many frequent visits to family and friends in her childhood home. She was preceded in death in 1989 by her husband of 36 years, James Leonard Smock, . A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 11am in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 700 N Bill Gray Rd, Cottonwood. A prelude of favorite music will be held from 10:45 to 11 AM. She was a devout member of the Catholic Church, most recently with Immaculate Conception in Cottonwood. She was baptized, attended elementary school, made first communion, confirmed and married at St. Charles Boromeo in Peru. A service will also be held in Peru, IN at a later date in the spring when she will be interred between her mother Ruth Alice Test and father Patrick Joseph Weis. She is remembered in laughter and overflowing hearts of love by her sister, Jessica "Kiki" Parkman and husband, John; her brother, David Weis and wife, Billie; her brother, Patrick Weis; her daughter, Nancy Ann Bellino and grandchildren, Trista, Trevor and Tierney; her son, David Smock and wife, April and grandchildren, Chloe Ruth and Dylan; and her daughter, Katrina Ruth Lovelady and husband, David and grandchildren, Tate and Gemma Ruth. She was a fervent fan of NCAA College Basketball and we hope that the Duke Blue Devils will win the tournament in her memory this season. She loved Coach K, Danny, Quinn, Christian, Wojo, Cherokee, Grant, Shane, Johnny, Tommy and many others and one of her greatest pleasures came from watching them play. She worked for over 20 years at The BEST School of Real Estate in Sedona, AZ, where, as office manager, she touched many lives with her generosity of spirit and kindness. In that spirit, the family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children\u0027s Research Hospital. She was devoted to helping children in need.
