Beatrice E. Parfitt

Beatrice E. Parfitt passed away February 18, 2012 in Cottonwood, Arizona. Bea was born October 6, 1920 in Saginaw County, Michigan to Austrian parents but was later adopted into the Birch family. She grew up in Battle Creek and attended Battle Creek SDA Academy, graduating in 1939. Bea received her Registered Nursing degree from Madison College in Tennessee and in 1949, she married Leonard D. Parfitt, DO. They moved to Columbus, Ohio where their first child, Gary, was born in 1954. The young family then moved to Troy, Missouri where in 1957, their second child Ron was born. In 1959 they moved to the Phoenix, Arizona area where the couple resided until Leonard\u0027s death in 2001. In 2002, Bea moved to Cottonwood, Arizona to be near her son. Bea loved Jesus and her Seventh-Day Adventist faith and dedicated her life in service to them. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and friend. Her infectious laugh, generous heart, gentle way and consistent, persistent love will be sorely missed. She had unwavering confidence in the soon coming of her Lord and rests awaiting that grand and glorious day. John 14:1-3. Bea is survived by her sons Gary and Ron and 3 grandchildren, Grant, Brendon and Lauren. Memorial gifts may be made to: 3ABN (Three Angels Broadcasting Network), her favorite charity, P.O.
