Benjamin Franklin Pennock

Benjamin Franklin Pennock, 95, of Yuma died June 25. He was born May 14, 1907 in Bourbon, Missouri. He worked for Phelps Dodge at the smelter in Douglas for 35 years. He was a member of the Valley Baptist Church in Yuma. Mr. pennock was a member of the Old Time Fiddlers Association. He was a prize winning fiddler winning the first trophy at the age of 70. He leaves two daughters, Joy P. Gage and Faye Braley; a sister, Marie Wilson of Bourbon, Missouri; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. His wife, Jurine Pennock, preceded him in death. Private family services were hled in the Calvary (Julia Page) Memorial Park in Douglas. Donations in his memory may be made to the Valley Baptist Church, 3830 W. 8th St., Yuma, AZ 85364. Westcott Funeral Home handled these arrangements.
