Benjamin E. Moran, Sr.

Benjamin Moran Sr., 74, passed away on March 21 in Phoenix. He was born July 19, 1933 to Edwin and Angela Moran in Douglas, AZ. Benjamin retired from Phoenix Cement Co. He enjoyed outdoor activities including golfing, fishing and hunting. Benjamin was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend and will be greatly missed by all. Benjamin is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Viola "Babe" Moran; sons Benjamin Moran Jr. of Cottonwood and Gene Moran (Sharon) of Clarkdale; daughter Kathy Razo (Serafin) of Cottonwood; brothers Bobby Moran and Dick Moran (Carolyn) both of Globe, AZ; sisters Norma Perez (Joe) of Globe, AZ and Pauline Moran of California; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 11:30am at the Lamplighter Club House on HWY 89A in Clarkdale followed by a potluck reception.
