Bertha L. Martin, 91 of Cottonwood, passed away on April 2, 2013. She was born on October 4, 1921 in Sonora, Mexico to Nicolas Leon and Mary Louis Navaraz. Bea worked for Ladies Garment Industries. Her biggest accomplishment was becoming a U.S. citizen. She enjoyed sewing, baseball and loved to color. Bea was loved and will be deeply missed. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and a deep fan of baseball. Bea was preceded in death by her husband Alfredo Martin and her son Alfred O. Martin. She is survived by sons James Martin of Michigan and Brian Martin (Rhonda) of Rawlins, WY; daughters Rose Martin of Cottonwood and Darlene C. Galvin of Cottonwood; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A reception memorial service will be held on Monday, April 8, 2013 at 10:30am at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood.
