Betty L. DeMeyere

Betty L. DeMeyere, 91, of Cottonwood passed away on April 20, 2015. She was born on July 26, 1923 in Coal Valley, IL to Wayne and Edna Bailey. She stayed in that area until 1974 when she retired to AZ. In the Verde Valley she was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, having attended Christ the King Catholic Church in Mesa and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Moline, IL. Betty is survived by her daughters, Maryann (Terry) Seams of Clarkdale, AZ and Jane (Lonnie) Huitt of Montgomery, IL; 3 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren. A memorial mass is being held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 700 N. Bill Gray Road in Cottonwood on Monday, April 27, 2015 at 10 AM. Private inurnment will follow later at Mountain View Cemetery in Mesa, AZ. Donations in Betty\u0027s memory may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society.
