Betty Jo Stoddard

Betty Jo Stoddard, 80 of Cottonwood , passed away on April 14, 2011. She was born on October 30, 1930 in Collins, Missouri to Herman Glenn Burkhart and Clara Mae Boucher. Betty Jo attended school in Collins and Lee\u0027s Summit , MO then went to University in Wyoming for music (voice). She worked as an accounting clerk in insurance for 23 years then worked with U-Haul for 21 years. Betty Jo was a professional church vocalist in Wyoming and Denver , Colorado . She also sang with the Denver Symphony. She belonged to United Brethren as a vocalist. She loved music and bible study. Betty Jo is preceded in death by her husband of 32 years of marriage, Sailor Aaron Stoddard and mother Clara Mae Boucher Burkhart-Syphert. She is survived by cousin Jerry Boucher (Myrtle) of Yuma , AZ. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 10:00am at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood .
