Betty Lee Troupe

Betty Lee Troupe, 78 of Sedona, passed away on May 7, 2014 in Cottonwood. She was born on May 25, 1935 in Denver, Colorado to Homer Lee Wilson and Lois Kennedy. Betty attended South High School and the University of Northern Colorado. Betty moved to Sedona/Village of Oak Creek in 1995. She would throw great neighborhood parties and was wonderful at bringing people together. She held membership chair for the League of Women Voters, past president of Country Estates HOA and the VOC Red Hats. Betty enjoyed writing, photography, embroidery, shelling and talking on the phone. She was a generous, loving mother who was quick witted, had dry humor and was lots of fun. She will be greatly missed. Betty is survived by her husband of 56 years, Cal Troupe; sons Skylar Troupe (Teresa Fallon) of Phoenix and Roger Troupe (Laura Chan) of CA; daughter Leslie McLean (Bob) of Sedona and 2 grandchildren.
