Billy M. Gatewood

Billy Moore Gatewood, 82 of Cottonwood , passed away on December 29, 2013. He was born on February 17, 1931 in Dresden , TN to Quinton Gatewood and Lendell Dell Moore. Billy attended Woodburn School , Indiana Seventh-Day Adventist Academy and Andrews University . He worked for IBM, Clark Equipment and Whirlpool for over 30 years. Billy was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church . Billy loved comic memorabilia, collected knives and loved his computers and electronic gadgets. He was a very loving husband, father and stepfather. Billy was preceded in death by his first wife Iris Kimball Gatewood and daughters Janet Gatewood, Kathy Sloan and Nancy Miller. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Audrey; son William J. Gatewood (Dawn) of Battle Creek, MI; stepson Kevin Lamon of Hurn, SD; daughters Carol Gatewood and Linda Martin (Chris) both of Lincoln, NE; stepdaughter Belinda Hofer (Tim) of Huron, NE; sister Nancy Biscardi of Fort Wayne, IN; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at 11:00am at Sedona Seventh-Day Adventist Church , 680 Sunset Drive in Sedona. Donations may be made to Your Story Hour, P.O.
