Caesar EuGene Mattos

Caesar Eugene Mattos, 78, resident of Cottonwood, Arizona, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2006 in Flagstaff, Arizona. He was born and raised in Gustine, California. He was born November 14, 2006 to Alfred and Germana Mattos. Caesar served his country in the United States Marines as a Seaman during WWII; professionally, he was self employed as a Doctor of Chiropractics; and he was a member of the Catholic Faith. Caesar enjoyed fishing hunting, horses and pets; he was the West Coast Light Heavy Weight Boxing Champion and an honorary inductor of the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame in the Rough Stock Ride. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary; and his daughter, Shirley. He leaves behind two daughters, Diane Silva and Patti Burns; one sister, Olivia Pollard; four grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A Visitation will be held at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave., in Cottonwood, AZ, on Friday, October 27, 2006 from 5:00-7:00pm. A Funeral Mass will follow Saturday morning, October 28, 2006 at 9:30am at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 700 N. Bill Gray Rd., in Cottonwood, AZ.
