Carol S. Cooper was born Carol Sue Greenwood to J.D. and Dollie Greenwood in Beatrice, Nebraska, December 19, 1944. She graduated from Mingus "on the hill". She married Ralph Soqui, their 3 children, Kelle, Jason and Teresa were raised in their Navy family traveling from Spain to Virginia and later San Diego where they spent the majority of their time. She later married Samuel Cooper enjoying time with his children and grandchildren creating a blended family with much love. Sam preceded her in death. After retiring from her job as a data analyst Carol returned to Cottonwood where she enjoyed crocheting and knitting for her kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews. Carol was an avid reader, who loved music and dancing, she could strike up a conversation with anyone, never met a stranger. Carol is survived by sons Jason Soqui of Cottonwood, AZ, Rodney Cooper of San Diego CA and Samuel Cooper of San Deigeo, CA; daughters Kelle Soqui of Cottonwood, AZ and Teresa Martinez (Juan) of Garden City, Kansas; sisters Peggy Greenwood and Dee Tasa (Dain) of Cottonwood, AZ; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
