Carol Jean Perez

Carol-Jean Perez (Lawdermilk) or CJ to her friends, died on August 4th due to health issues.

She was born in Chula Vista, California on August 1st, 1942. She graduated Chula Vista High School in 1960, and in 1967 married Jesse Perez, Jr.

For the past 20+ years she loved calling Cottonwood, Arizona her home. She enjoyed her weekly lunches with the Widows Link group, and deeply loved her dogs and cats. She was fond of horses, tending to her garden, and cowboy movies - especially ones with John Wayne in them.

She passed quietly while watching her favorite TV show 'Walker, Texas Ranger'.

She is survived by one dog, three cats, and a 13 year-old chicken.

Memorial services will be held Friday, September 1, 2023 at 11:00am at Verde Community Church in Cottonwood.
