Catherine M. Oenning

Catherine Miller Oenning, 88, a resident of Sedona died May 11. She was born October 5, 1915 in Moro, Arkansas. She was a graduate of Helena High School in Helena, Arkansas. Mrs. Oenning was a retired news photgrapher and photojournalist at the Blytheville Courier News in Blytheville, Arkansas. Active in the West Helena Baptist Church, she enjoyed travel, sewing, reading, gardening and cooking. Her husband, Leon Henry Oenning, preceded her in death. She leaves a daughter, Barbara Oenning Scott of Sedona; two grandchildren Donna Kerbough Miller and Terry Kerbough and two great-grandchildren Catherine Miller Cooper and Jennifer Kerbough Caldwell and three great-great-grandsons. There are no public services planned. Donations in her memory may be made to the Kachina Point Activity Fund, 505 Jacks Canyon Rd., Sedona 86351. Westcott Funeral Home is serving the family.
