Charlene M. Kirby

Charlene Kirby, 85 and former resident of the Verde Valley, passed away on May 4, 2016 in Hutchinson, Kansas. She was born on May 14, 1930 in St. Louis, MO to Charles and Myrtle Holmes. Charlene was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Cottonwood and Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Kansas. Charlene was preceded in death by her husband Duane Kirby. She is survived by sons Kevin Kirby of Cottonwood, Keith Kirby (Annette) of Clarkdale and Kelly Kirby (Shelly) of Splendora, Texas; daughters Karen Getman (Wally) of Hutchinson, Kansas and Kristy Aston (Gregg) of Clarkdale; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held for Charlene on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 3:30pm at Faith Lutheran Church, 2021 Fir Street in Cottonwood.
