Charles Michael Zunitch

Charles Michael Zunitch of Clarkdale died on Saturday, November 2, 2013. He was 35 years old. He was born on August 5, 1978 in Cottonwood, AZ to Charles and Dolores Zunitch. He grew up in the Verde Valley and attended Mingus Union High School, graduating in the class of 1997. Charles Michael Zunitch, no words can describe such a great man. He was a devoted husband and father. He was a loving son, brother and uncle. He was loved by many. He was a man of great strength and character with a heart of gold. He was a dedicated football coach and softball player. He loved hunting, music and spending time with family and friends. He has forever touched the hearts of all that knew him, never forgotten and always missed. Charles is survived by his wife of 11 years, Jessica Zunitch and his children, sons, Michael and Matthew and daughters, Sabrina and Alexa; his sister, Michelle Zunitch; his parents, Charles and Dolores Lago Zunitch; many nieces and nephews and a large extended loving family. A Visitation will be held on Friday, November 8, 2013 from 5-7 PM at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave, Cottonwood, with Rosary being said at 6 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 9:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 700 Bill Gray Road, Cottonwood, with burial to follow at Cottonwood Cemetery.
