Chester V. Swanson

Chester Vern Swanson, 86, of Camp Verde died August 23. He was born October 23, 1916 in Minnesota. He retired as an engineer from Pacific Bell. Mr. Swanson was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. He was an avid golfer. He leaves his wife of 58 years, Celia D. Swanson; two daughters, Claudia Lynn Clark of Alta Loma, California and Terry Anne Swanson of LaCrescenta, California; a son, David Earl Swanson of Norco, California; nine grandchildren, Steven J. Bednarczyk, Brandon Bednarczyk, Matthew, Ryan and Hailey Clark, Jenny Clark-Reed, Kyle, Shaina and Zachary Swanson; three great-grandchildren Joshua, Christian and Gracen Reed. There are no public services planned. Westcott Funeral Home assisted the family with these arrangements.
