Christopher K. West

Christopher K. West, 42 of Phoenix, AZ died July 12, 2014. He was born January 5, 1972 in Cottonwood, AZ. Chris attended Glendora High School in Glendora, CA, received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Northern Arizona University and his Master\u0027s of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. He was captain of the C.I.F. Championship team while at Glendora High and continued his football career at NAU where he was also a captain. He was an avid hunter who loved the outdoors. He especially loved sharing his passion with his two daughters. Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Sherry West; two daughters, Tyller and Reilly; parents Gary and Beatrice Elmer; brothers Steve West and Jason Elmer; and grandmother Dorothy Elmer. A memorial will be held Friday, July 18 at 2pm in the Westcott Funeral Home, immediately followed by a reception and celebration of life in the hall at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a 529 college fund for his daughters.
