Claire E. Smith, 91, resident of Sedona, passed away on February 23, 2007. She was born April 9, 1915 in Tracey, California to Jesse A. and Edith P. (Buell) Garrett. Claire received her education as a Registered Nurse and worked as the School Nurse in Corona, California. She enjoyed reading and helping others. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ward L. Smith. Claire leaves behind her son Garrett W. Smith with his wife, B.J. of Vail, Colorado; her daughter, Janet E. Kleine of Sedona, Arizona; three grandchildren, Elaine M. Kleine of Phoenix, Garrett L. Kleine of Rimrock, and Katherine S. Mitchell with her husband, Timothy of Peoria; as well as, 5 great-grandchildren. No local services were held.
