Clayton D. Selthun, 70, of Cottonwood died September 25. He was born September 19, 1934 in Owatonna, Minnesota. He graduated from Owatonna, (Minnesota) High School in 1952 and the Devry Technical Institute of Chicago in 1959. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Selthun retired from sales for Sony Corporation. He previously had been an engineer at KWWL-TV in Waterloo, Iowa and WQAD-TV in Moline, Illinois. He was President of the Pine Shadows Residents Association and Vice President of the Faith Lutheran Church Council. He also enjoyed fishing and golf. Mr. Selthun leaves his wife of 41 years, Janis Selthun; two sons and daughters-in-law, Stu and Pam Selthun of Phoenix, Trent and Cecilia Selthun of Virginia Beach, Virginia; a daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Sal Huesh of Iowa City, Iowa; a sister Helen Larson of Owatonna, Minnesota; four grandchildren, Abbie, Elena, Zoe and Mesarah; one stepgrandson, Bryce Farmer. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 29 in the Faith Lutheran Church at 1 PM. Donations in his memory may be made to the Faith Lutheran Church, 2021 E.
