Clifford C. Baxter

Clifford C. Baxter, 74, of Cornville died October 12. He was born November 5, 1929 in Liberty, Arizona. He was a veteran of the Navy. Mr. Baxter was a retired heavy equipment operator. He was a cowboy at heart and big interests were horses and rodeos. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Frances Baxter; a daughter, Frances Diane Metz of Florence; two sisters, Blanch Anderson and Marci Baxter, both of Cottonwood; two brothers, Walter Baxter of Cottonwood and Kenny Baxter of San Diego, California; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the family residence 815 N. Aspas Rd at Baxter Lane in Cornville at 10 AM. Westcott Funeral Home served the family.
