Consuelo Sepulveda

Consuelo Sepulveda, 88, of Cottonwood died January 8, 2013. She was born October 22, 1924 in El Rey, Arizona, the daughter of Cruz and Santos Contreras. She was an avid gardener and bird enthusiast. She was a great cook, loving mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all of her loving family and friends. Her husband Alejandro Sepulveda preceded her in death. Mrs. Sepulveda leaves her sons Alfonso Sepulveda (Magdalena) of Cornville, Alex Sepulveda of Cottonwood, Joe Sepulveda (Frances) of Cottonwood; daughters Maria Jackson (Sonny) of Clarkdale, Rebecca Garza of Dallas, Texas; brothers Elias Contreras (Susana) of Phoenix, Juan Contreras (Oralia) of Cornville, Elizondo Contreras (Carmelita) of Flagstaff; sisters Amada Islas of San Diego and Cecilia Ponce of Mexico; thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. A Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be on Friday, January 18 in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Mass will follow at 11 AM.
