Curtis Todd Dimmick, 28, resident of Camp Verde, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2007 in Phoenix. He was born May 11, 1979 in Phoenix to Charles and Juanita (Burton) Dimmick. Curtis graduated from Camp Verde High School in 1998. He was employed at the SRMG Phoenix Cement Plant in Clarkdale, where he worked as a Kiln Assistant. He was a member of the Emmanuel Fellowship Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He also liked guns, camping, and off-road adventures. His wife, Heather states, "He was my soul mate, my lover, my best friend, and the best father in the world. I will love you forever". Curtis is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Hattie Dimmick and Norma Burton. He leaves behind his loving wife of 2 ½ years, Heather Dimmick of Camp Verde; his son, Tyler Todd Dimmick, and his expectant son, Trent Daniel Curtis Dimmick; his parents, Charles and Juanita Dimmick of Mesa; his brothers, Travis Dimmick of Camp Verde, and Austin Dimmick of North Dakota; his grandfather, Ray Burton of Kansas; his parent-in-laws, Wendy Mahoney and Hershel McCants with his wife, Elaine; as well as, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and lots of friends. A Funeral Service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Camp Verde on Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Clarkdale.
