Curtis C. Freeland

Curtis Charles Freeland, 85, a resident of Sedona, Village of Oak Creek, died April 6. He was born on May 16, 1918 in Oak Park, Illinois. He was a graduate of Northwestern University. Mr. Freeland was the retired president of Foster-Stevens Advertising of Skokie, Illinois. He enjoyed water skiing, dancing, golf and football. A Navy veteran, he served during World War II. Mr. Freeland is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carolyn Freeland; a son, Michael Freeland of Kino Springs, Arizona and Carl Freeland of Salt Lake City, Utah; a daughter Suzanne and her husband Paul Zarkovich of Scottsdale; and two grandchildren. There are no public services planned. Donations in his memory may be made to Kachina Point Health Care Center and Rehabilitation Center Activity Fund, 505 Jacks Canyon Rd, Sedona 86351. Westcott Funeral Home served the family.
