Dallas Ray Race, 68, resident of Cottonwood, AZ, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2006. Dallas was born on June 7, 1937 to Walter W. and Ruth E. (Bloom) Race in Douglas, Wyoming, where he grew up. He attended the local grade school and High School. Throughout his life, Dallas ventured in different careers. For 6 years he owned his own restaurant, then for 14 years, he spent as Supervisor for G\u0026S Construction, another 14 years he worked as foreman over the Wheat and Cattle Ranch for BW Davidson and Sons. Dallas retired as Maintenance Supervisor from the Camelot RV Park. Dallas was a Mason. He served as the Master of the Lodge for Mason Lodge #103, located in Colton, Washington. Dallas loved traveling, and he loved being outside; fishing, hunting and camping. Dallas leaves behind his loving wife, Anne Marie (Brockstedt) Race of Cottonwood, AZ; his son, Kenny of Anthem, AZ; his daughters, Debbie of Alaska, Linda of Seattle, WA, and Melody of Kennewick, WA; his step-sons, Loni Canon and Donald Canon both of Clarkton, WA; his brother, Terry Race of Clarkton, WA; his sisters, Moneta Westberg of Pullman, WA, Waletta Foster of Potlatch, ID, and Sally Bowey of Bovill, ID; as well as seven grandchildren. A Visitation will be held on Friday, April 28, 2006 from 4:00-7:00pm at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave., in Cottonwood. Funeral Services will follow Saturday morning, April 29, 2006 at 10:00am. Funeral Services will also be held at Westcott Funeral Home.
