Daniel Harrington

Daniel L. Harrington, 83 of Cornville passed away on June 3, 2016. Dan, son of Mildred Collins Harrington and Daniel L. Harrington Sr., was born in Boston, Massachusetts on December 28, 1932. Dan attended Saint Johns\u0027 Elementary School in Cambridge, MA and Quincy High School in Quincy, MA. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Dan retired from Verizon Communications in 1992, completing a 36 year career in Telecommunications installation, repair and marketing. Dan is survived by his wife of 29 years, Gloria LeClerck Harrington, three sons Daniel, Michael and Stephen, sisters Patricia Cyr (Somerville, MA) and Mildred Ennis (Billerica, MA), a brother John Harrington (Arlington, MA) plus numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Dan enjoyed travelling, antique Mercedes cars, collecting John Wayne western memorabilia, home improvement projects and caring for his beloved Maine Coon Cat Teddie. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 13th at 10 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cottonwood. A one-hour time of visitation will be held at the Church prior to the Funeral Mass.
