Daniel L. Shanks

Daniel L. Shanks, 60 of Sedona, passed away at home on June 26, 2013. He was born on September 6, 1952 in Flagstaff , Arizona to Donald and Anna Marie Shanks. Daniel attended Coconino High School . He worked for Coconino High School and Jerry\u0027s Custodial Service. Daniel enjoyed watching game shows on TV, playing cards with family and visiting with family and friends. In his younger days he enjoyed hunting, fishing, telling jokes, making trips to Laughlin and listening to country music. He was a person who always worried about the needs of others. Daniel was preceded in death by his mother Anna Marie Shanks. He is survived by brothers Gerald Shanks (Merry Carol) of West Sedona and Leonard Shanks (Janice) of Chino Valley; sister Janet Fish (William) of Winslow and father Donald Shanks of West Sedona. Services will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cottonwood with rosary at 10:00am and memorial mass following at 10:30am.
