Darrel E. Long

Darrel Edwin Long, 54, of Cornville died May 11. He was born January 30, 1951 in Topeka, Kansas. Before illness forced his retirement, he worked as a deliveryman for Verde Floral. Prior to that, Darrel had been a carpet layer. He enjoyed fisihng, camping and cars. Darrel leaves his life partner Sandy Smith; three sons, Dale Long, Charles Long and Elyi Stocks, all of Cottonwood; a daughter, Evelyn Long of Cottonwood; brothers, Ronnie and Keith Sanders of Oklahoma; a sister, Rhea Crofut of Oklahoma; and six grandchildren. There are no public services planned. Westcott Funeral Home assisted the family with these arrangements.
